I played high school football was pretty good. Then I got my ex wife preganet with our son. Got my GED went into the Army. Then three years later went to Junior College played football. Moved from wide receiver to RB. Im only 5′8 200pds quick as lighting. Im looking to go to college tryout for team and play RB. WHERE DO I NEED TO START?

Open Question: So do you think being 6′0 and going to be a junior next year will be tall enough to play WR?
I was starting FS this year and next year i plan on playing some offense preferably WR my question is do you think a 160lb 6′0 guy is good enough and how much should i be lifting by Junior year and one more thing is it hard to learn WR plays??? how long does is it take to memorize??? Also one more thing if you go to college and you wanna play on their football team but you didn’t get a scholarship to go can you still try out there anyways??

Open Question: How do I fix a relationship with a guy who liked me but suddenly just stopped?
It upsets me that I have to get down to posting a question on yahoo answers but I am honestly at a lost as to what I should do. I knew this guy back in high school and a few months ago we reconnected at a college party of a mutual acquaintance. We hit it off right away, I haven’t had as much fun with anyone in a long time before or even since that night. He asked me if he could have my number and I gladly handed it over, shortly after leaving he already sent me a text asking if I was still having a good time. The next few days were nonstop texting and flirting, and finally we arranged a date to see a movie together. He was totally unashamed about his attraction for me and put his arm around me. He kissed me after he walked me to the car, and I found out that he had already seen the movie! He told me though that he wasnt there for the movie so it was ok. But shortly after that night the texts just stopped. He had asked me to come to some of his football games so I did and saw him afterwords. He seemed to be glad about that and even apologized for not talking to me. So we hung out once more before finally I gave up trying to conduct phone conversations one sided so talking stopped completely. I still see him once in awhile and we give eachother hugs and the usual How are you doing but everything is so awkward and Im thrown back to where I was months ago when I fell for him (we shared alot in common and had great conversations, plus hes a sweet talker). I feel like I cant move on without finding out what made him stop. I don’t even care if he doesn’t like me or if we can never be together romantically, I just miss the friendship we had growing. He is such a cool neat guy and I always feel comfortable around him. I want him in my life, at the very least as friends. Ive tried getting together with him to figure this out but he has reasons why he cant and then doesnt try to rain check. I just dont know what to do.

Resolved Question: Are we going to have another controversial BCS season in college football yet again?
We’ve got 6 undefeated teams heading into bowl season. Only two teams allowed to play in the National Championship game. Why is this allowed to happen? You’re telling me that Texas, TCU, Cincinnati and Boise St. won’t even have the chance to prove themselves against Florida or Alabama? I’m sorry but the prestige of the Rose/Sugar/Orange/Fiesta Bowl doesn’t mean squat when everyone knows those are the second-place bowl games. What a joke! I should clarify. i mean TCU, Boise St. and Cincinnati won’t get their shot!

Open Question: best music schools in New York City?
I’m a senior in high school finishing up my college search and application process. I have already applied to 5 schools however I am still having second thoughts. I am looking for a school with a respected jazz or contemporary/popular music department for vocalists in New York City or close to it, with a football and basketball team. I have applied to one conservatory, although I would rather be somewhere where I could study music and be involved with activities outside of music. please help! i want to be sure in making my decisions lol

Open Question: How to handle our daughters marine friendship as a parent so worried about her mental part in it?
Our daughter met this marine when she was 18. She is now 20 and he is 21. They fell fast for each other wanting to move in together,gave promise rings,got a dog,etc. Then he deployed to Iraq and seemed different when he came back. They lived together at our house before and for some time after. Friction started and they broke up. She is in college works and was coaching basketball. So much happened between that time and now. His drinking and spending hit him hard. They both did some dating but said to each other that they wanted each other because the other dates weren’t enough. So for now he has started coming back over again,takes her to movies,has dinner and will spend the night. Yet he says he is not wanting to have that boyfriend/girlfriend relationship for now. He says the breakup part is really hard and wants to see how this progresses. Part of me sees that because he comes from a messed up family life where he was moved from one family to another. I have been married for 30 years and we want our daughter to be happy. It’s hard to sit back and not say anything and let him come back into the house when say this weekend he was at Vegas at the Marine Ball and he hasn’t even contacted her once. Yeah I know when you get around the buddies that I am sure they are encouraging him to be single,drinking,smoking whatever,no worries that way. To be honest my husband and I like how this guy can be and we were very close to where we did a lot of trips together and he called us mom and dad. He owes us money as well and that has kind of stopped since he has gotten him self in dept and I hope that isn’t why he is coming over here so much. Free dinners,etc. He probably thinks she will always be there for him so…on the other hand she did tell him a short time ago that if the friendship wasn’t going anywhere than she was done with him. But he has a way of making her think otherwise. There is a good chance he could get out early next year or get deployed to Japan so that can be factors to. I just wish I had a crystal ball and knew what to say to help her out. I have heard so much about the Marines and how not to get involved because they will break your heart. He used to talk to us all the time about spending his life with her but now it’s just about work. He seems to be fine until he has to go to 29 Palms or somewhere and then he shuts down and starts worrying what she is doing while he is gone. She waited for him all that time while he was in Iraq. He sent her gifts every month and as we did him. It seems when he moved back into the barracks that he changed. Frankly this is making me crazy and has hurt my husband and I and now we find out that he asks her to buy Pep and Hookah to help him out with stressing at work. Shes a good kid and we are so worried about her health. She has gotten so thin and even passed out on us one time recently while out walking so yeah we are extremely worried about her and want to help in some way like kick his butt and tell him to get real…let her go and quit messing with her mind..yet we still have the ties…..yeah we were stupid to help him out and feel sorry for him with a dad overseas on his third marriage and only comes back once a month to avoid paying taxes. So go ahead all of you and tell me what would you do if you were in our shoes. No he isn’t hurting her physically, just seems like making commitments and staying with them is a weakness on his part. One day he is on the basketball team, another football. He never wanted her around other Marines..and I hear from time to time how he won’t talk to this Marine for some stupid reason…what is going on???maturity issue,head problems,control issues,what??? If it matters his Marine company were not on the front lines only guarding a bridge so not as severe as other troops..I know to keep out of her life but it’s hard when we see what is going on in our home..

Open Question: I am might start to use supremacy is it legal for sports?
I am 18 and trying to go to college on an athletic scholarship for football or track. I have done the protein with enough rest and regualr intense workouts daily without seeing any results. i was suggested supremacy mass builder but was told it was so close to illegal steroids that it might come up negative on a test if i took one. If anyone knows about the ncaa and their requirements and if this stuff is illegal please let me know!!

Open Question: Are the Glory Days Of Notre Dame Football Long Over?
Are Notre Dame fans delusional or do the Fighting Irish need a better coach? In my opinion, the days of Notre Dame or any school being a decades long contender are over. There is too much parity in college football. If Irish fans expect annual 10 – 12 win seasons then forget it. Nobody get that year in and year out these days. I do think Charlie Weiss needs to go and I think Notre Dame fans need to lower their expectations of any coach. There are too many good programs in the NCAA and more programs trying to join the highest eschelons.

Open Question: What presents to give this year?
So I have a boyfriend who is 18 a senior in high school and I don’t really know what to get him for christmas. He plays football, wrestles, plays soccer, has seen like every movie ever existing lol, he has a car, for a guy is pretty good with what he wears and stuff, loves candy(skittles) and all the cakes and cookies i make him, he will be attending a college next year but not sure which. Also he does such cute things for me all the time and always gets me nice things so it has to be good. If you have any suggestions it would help. THANKS A BUNCH!!!
